The Challenge
The Customer* operates a cattle feed lot in Miami County, Kansas. Although they had GoBrolly’s Internet service at home, connectivity did not extend to their outlying property, leaving them unable to secure and monitor their buildings and cattle remotely.
Customer* needed:
- A reliable Internet connection in their shop and barn.
- Cameras to keep any eye on livestock and property.
- A solution that could handle rural conditions and provide easy remote access.
The GoBrolly Solution
We began with an on-site assessment to identify the optimal approach. Following the evaluation, we collaborated with the Customer* to define their goals and designed a tailored solution that included:
- Wireless Bridge to deliver internet to the outlying structures.
- Outdoor Access Point to extend the internet connection into the feed lot and beyond.
- Network Video Recorder (NVR), allowing the Customer* to go back and see events that have transpired rather than only have “real-time” access.
- Outdoor Cameras that can be accessed remotely and provide 10x zoom and 355-degree visibility.
- Weatherproof Control Box to protect equipment.
