Why we think George Karnaze is a Community Jewel

After 48 years, George Karnaze, vice chairman of the First National Bank in Louisburg and longtime Louisburg resident, retired from his position at the bank at the end of January, 2023.

“He was the most professional dresser EVER in this community,” said GoBrolly’s CEO.

About Louisburg, Kansas

“When I first came to Louisburg, I didn’t know a soul. Not one person,” Karnaze said. Karnaze accepted a job at the local bank to learn banking from the ground up after being employed at one of the largest banks in Kansas City. He got to know the people in the community, raised his children and became involved in many organizations in the area.

“Louisburg is just a great place to raise a family,” Karnaze said. “Good schools. Small town feel with close proximity to Kansas City’s amenities.”

Thank you, George, for your never-ending involvement in Louisburg, your leadership and your commitment to excellence in every thing you do. We know that even though you are officially “retired” we will still continue to see you active in our community. Stop in and say “hi” sometime!
