Lions and Tigers and Wolves! Oh My!

Why we think Cedar Cove is a Louisburg Jewel:

Founder Billy Pottorff was his own man; a man of vision, passion, and caring. Billy was a decorated wounded Vietnam War hero with two Purple Hearts.

Along with the atrocities of war, he witnessed a cruelty to animals that made a strong impression.

He believed these animals were treasures to be protected and his legacy is the passion he had for these Big Cats.

Cedar Cove is a unique and enduring testament to his passion and began just east of where it now sits, in the Pottorffs’ backyard, with a mountain lion named Fred.

His journey was not easy, and we do not need to re-write what has already been written. Please follow the provided links to learn about this wonderful Louisburg Jewel.
